On June 18th, the "Youthful in Yantai · Cherry on Top" 2025 Yantai Vocational Institutions New Media Live Streaming Marketing Competition successfully concluded. The event was guided by the Communist Youth League Yantai Municipal Committee and organized by the Communist Youth League Fushan District Committee, the Shandong E-Commerce Industry Integration of Industry and Education Consortium, and the Fushan District Big Cherry Industry Party Building Alliance & Party Branch-led Cooperative Alliance. It was hosted by Yantai Engineering & Technology College and the Zhanggezhuang Town People's Government.
Centered on the theme of "Empowering the Cherry Industry Through Live Streaming to Boost Rural Revitalization," the competition aimed to expand cherry sales channels through digital marketing while providing a practical platform for vocational students. Our school attached great importance to the event, leveraging the professional strengths of the School of Economics and Management, School of Information Engineering, and School of Art and Design to quickly assemble 11 interdisciplinary teams. These teams comprised over 40 teachers and students from majors such as e-commerce, marketing, and advertising art design.
The competition officially commenced in early May and spanned over a month, consisting of three stages: short video operations, on-site live streaming sales, and roadshow presentations. Eight of our teams stood out among more than 100 participating teams from universities and professional e-commerce organizations with their solid expertise and innovative creativity. Among them, two teams won first prize, two teams secured second prize, and four teams earned third prize. Additionally, our school was honored with the Outstanding Organization Award.
Moving forward, our institution will continue to deepen the integration of industry and education, guiding students to hone their skills while contributing to rural revitalization and local economic development. We remain committed to cultivating more high-quality technical and skilled talents, driving the upgrading of regional specialty industries, and showcasing the strength of vocational education.
