Recently, the psychological survey, data analysis and screening, and post-test interview deployment for the 2022 freshmen of our school were successfully completed. The census was conducted for all 5772 freshmen in the class of 2022.
In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the survey, the Psychology Department held a deployment meeting of the freshmen psychological survey in early September. The survey was conducted online, using the University Student Mental Health Inventory(UPI) and the Self-assessment of Mental Health Scale (SCL-90), to ensure the scientific, objective and accurate assessment. Through data analysis, students with psychological problems were categorized and evaluated, and psychological files were established to provide a reference basis for subsequent targeted mental health education work.
To ensure that the counselors can accurately understand and grasp the students’ specific situation in the interview, realize “ one person, one file” and dynamic management, the school timely intervenes the people with psychological crisis, so as to achieve early prevention and avoid the occurrence of extreme events.
