Recently, the ceremony to commemorate the 2573rd anniversary of the Confucius’ birth and to launch the 6th traditional culture festival was held in the Confucius culture square. Mr. Tao Chuanwei, the vice president of Shandong Business Institute, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, and leaders of each college, teachers and more than 160 student representatives attended the ceremony. Mr. Tao Chuanwei pointed out that culture is the soul of a country and a nation, and strong culture is a strong nation. He encouraged that teachers and students to consciously inherit the excellent Chinese traditional culture and vigorously promote the creative transformation and innovative development.
It is reported that this year’s traditional culture festival lasts 6 weeks, our school will carry out “ I and traditional culture” short video collection, traditional culture exhibition, traditional culture lectures, classical recitation and other colorful activities. We hope that all students will actively participate in these activities, so that they can understand the the profound Chinese traditional culture, enhance their cultural literacy, strengthen their cultural confidence, cultivate their national sentiment, and further develop their skills of serve the people.
