To further implement the work of high-quality and full employment, on the morning of May 12, a delegation of nine members, including Ryo Inoue, President of Japanese Corporation Relation; Gao Xingchun from the JMW General Incorporated Association; Cong Zhanjiang, President of Ludong University's Japanese Preparatory Program for Overseas Study; and Ye Yu, Overseas Department Manager of Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd., visited the school to discuss international cooperation matters related to student employment. School Party Secretary Sun Yunmao and Deputy Party Secretary and President Wang Faming attended the meeting, along with heads of departments such as the School-Enterprise Cooperation and Employment Office, the School of Continuing Education, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, and the School of Culture and Tourism.
During the exchange meeting, Sun Yunmao emphasized that the school adheres to the educational philosophy and mission of "student-centered, teaching according to aptitude, and diverse life paths." He stated that the cooperation between the two parties should be based on the principles of "student voluntariness, legality and compliance, and mutual benefit." The key to cooperation lies in fully safeguarding students' rights, personal safety, and salary benefits. The collaboration model could explore establishing academic advancement pathways between Chinese and Japanese universities, creating a green channel for students to enhance their knowledge, skills, and language proficiency, thereby laying a solid foundation for their employment abroad. Finally, he stressed that through this cooperation, students should be able to learn cutting-edge technologies in their fields, thereby increasing the happiness and sense of fulfillment for both their families and themselves.
During the meeting, relevant offices and schools introduced their development status and cooperation intentions based on their practical work, forming a preliminary cooperation framework.
After the exchange meeting, the delegation, led by President Ryo Inoue of Japanese Corporation Relation, visited the experimental and training laboratories of the School of Information Engineering and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, among others, and spoke highly of the school's industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation efforts.
In the next steps, the school will strengthen communication with Japanese Corporation Relation and others to further study cooperation matters and reach a final agreement.
