China-ASEAN International Symposium on Food Security and Vocational Personnel Training was held successfully

Recently, the China-ASEAN International Symposium on Food Security and Vocational Personnel Training hosted by Shandong Business Institute was held in Guizhou. More than 100 experts and scholars from home and abroad attended the meeting through online and offline methods to discuss inter-regional food security cooperation and the new direction of vocational personnel training.

Mr. Zhao Guangmei, the Deputy Director of China Grain Research and Training Center, National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, Mr. Liu Baoli, the Executive Secretary General of Organizing Committee of China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, Ms. Wang Hui, the Deputy Director-General of Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, Mr. Yin Xingbang, Deputy Director of Food and Material Reserve Bureau of Guizhou Province, Mr. Liu Kaitian, Deputy Director of Food and Material Reserve Bureau of Shandong Province, Mr. Lu Yuan’an , leader of Guizhou Polytechnic of Construction attend the meeting. Mr. Phout Simmalavong, Minister of Education of Laos, Mr. Monthon Parksuwan, Deputy Secretary General of Vocational Education Committee, Ministry of Education, Thailand, Ms. Vuth Sopheakna, President of International Chinese Education and Teachers Institute at Royal Academy of Cambodia attend the online meeting. Mr. Geng Jianmin, leader of Shandong Business Institute presided the opening ceremony.

During the conference, the "China-ASEAN Grain International Vocational Education Alliance" was established. The alliance was jointly initiated by more than 10 government agencies, universities and enterprises. Focusing on the grain vocational education, the grain industry and other aspects, it carried out cooperation in the fields of integrated teaching reform, teacher building, scientific research, resource sharing, innovation and entrepreneurship, cooperative school running, academic exchanges. The alliance units are committed to jointly developing technical standards for the grain industry and international standards for vocational education, innovating international cooperation service modes, and exploring the integration of production and education in different regions.
