On November 2nd, our school held a lecture on the "Chinese+Warehouse Management" training program with the Congo (Kinshasa) Ban Mo Institute (Northern Mining) and the Congo (Kinshasa) Lamika Chinese Workshop. The program was taught by faculty members from the Modern Logistics Management program at our university's School of Economics and Management.
The training content covered four core areas: 5S management, warehouse location coding, warehouse color coding, and considerations for daily warehouse inspections. The aim was to improve warehouse management efficiency and accuracy through systematic training. As the primary component of the training, 5S management emphasized five aspects: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain, aiming to regulate the workplace and enhance work efficiency and safety. Subsequently, the training delved into the importance of warehouse location coding, ensuring rapid goods location and efficient circulation through a scientific coding system. In the warehouse color coding session, instructors introduced in detail how to use color management to improve warehouse visibility, reduce errors, and enhance work efficiency. Finally, the training emphasized the importance of daily warehouse inspections, including safety checks, inventory counts, and equipment maintenance, to ensure smooth and safe warehouse operations.
This training, through the imparting of professional knowledge and guidance on practical operations, enhanced the professional skills of Congolese employees and injected new vitality into enterprises and local economic development.
