Recently, the HSK(Chinese Proficiency Test)Level 1 and Level 2 exams were successfully held at the"Ban Mo Academy and La Mica Chinese Workshop,"a joint initiative by our university and La Mica Company of Northern Mining. Our dispatched teacher,Gao Yanan, participated fully in the exam organization and invigilation process.A total of 24 local employees of La Mica Company took part in the exams, with 16 candidates for HSK Level 1 and 8 for HSK Level 2.

As a crucial component of our overseas"Chinese+Skills"cooperation project, these exams represent both a milestone achievement in the joint efforts of the university and the company to cultivate localized talent, and a practical demonstration of the university's commitment to serving the needs of enterprises under the"Belt and Road"initiative and supporting the development of international skilled professionals.
As the talent demand side,La Mica Company of Northern Mining explicitly outlined training objectives aimed at integrating employees'Chinese language proficiency with job-specific skills. In response, our university, leveraging the International Education School, formed a dedicated team to conduct needs assessments and design tailored programs. The university and the company established clear roles:the company provided essential resources such as teaching venues and facilities, while the university took charge of curriculum development, teaching implementation, and evaluation. This collaboration model follows the principle of"enterprises articulating needs, the university formulating solutions, and joint implementation."Since the project's inception,Teacher Gao Yanan,as our university's dispatched educator, has conducted frontline teaching and learning assessments. The International Education School has provided comprehensive teaching support, including customized course design, specialized teaching materials, remote teaching assistance, and learning diagnostics, establishing an"integrated front-and back-end,real-time collaboration"overseas teaching model.

To ensure the standardized and orderly conduct of the exams,Teacher Gao Yanan participated in online HSK invigilation training organized by the Confucius Institute at the Diplomatic Academy of the Democratic Republic of Congo, systematically studying exam procedures and invigilation protocols. Before the exams, she worked closely with the company to arrange the exam venue, test equipment, and conduct emergency drills, ensuring full compliance with international standards.During the exams, candidates demonstrated a serious attitude, and the exam environment remained orderly, with the overall organization receiving unanimous recognition from all parties. The successful completion of the exam administration highlights our university's professional competence in managing and implementing overseas education projects,as well as the teaching service capabilities of our faculty in high-standard,cross-cultural environments.
The trainees exhibited solid foundational Chinese skills and notable learning progress during the exams.Their performance in listening and reading sections was stable, and the practical impact of the training was evident in their daily work. Most trainees can now use Chinese for basic work communication, while some can comprehend technical content such as equipment manuals and safety protocols with the aid of Chinese.Their language skills are gradually translating into enhanced job-specific competencies. The company highly praised the training outcomes, noting that improved Chinese proficiency has significantly boosted work efficiency and team collaboration.
Looking ahead, the university will continue to deepen its cooperation with La Mica Company of Northern Mining.Building on the experience gained from these exams,we will leverage our strengths in vocational education, adhere to the principle of"education following industrial output and university-enterprise collaboration,"and integrate our capabilities across curriculum development, teaching implementation, and evaluation.Together with overseas enterprises,we aim to establish a sustainable localized talent cultivation system, contributing a"business-featured"overseas implementation plan for vocational education to China-Africa educational cooperation and cultural exchanges.
