Recently, the "Xinhua Yinyuan Cup" First National College Student Career Planning Competition ended at Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology. Our school's participating students performed excellently, standing out from 160 contestants from universities around the province, and won the good results of "two gold, one silver and one bronze", ranking first among similar participating universities.
It is reported that the "Xinhua Yinyuan Cup" First Shandong Provincial College Student Career Planning Competition and the Final of Shandong Provincial Selection for the First National College Student Career Planning Competition were co-sponsored by Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and Shandong Provincial Department of Education, Shandong Public Employment and Talent Service Center, Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology, Qilu Evening News · Qilu One Point, Shandong Education Television Station. The competition adopts the method of on-site competition of contestants and centralized evaluation of expert judges. It is divided into higher education group and vocational education group. The vocational education group selects 6 Best Elegance Awards, 20 Gold Awards, 40 Silver Awards, and 100 Bronze Awards.
At the competition, Sui Songhao, a student from the School of Culture and Tourism in the employment track, demonstrated the general qualities and job abilities that a hotel lobby waiter with feelings and warmth should have through stating his personal job intentions and career preparations. With his high-level professional skills and professionalism, he won applause from expert judges, won the Gold Award with the first place in his group, and also made an on-site demonstration as a representative of contestants from all over the province, successfully reaching the national competition. Kong Yan won the Outstanding Instructor Award.
The holding of the First Shandong Provincial College Student Career Planning Competition has greatly increased the importance attached by our students to career planning, and will surely have a positive impact on changing their employment concepts and comprehensively improving their employability.
