Recently, 2022 national vocational college skilled English speaking competition was held online. The student Li Danning, representing our school, won the second prize of the professional after three days of fierce competition.
English speaking competition is the only foreign language competition of national vocational college skills competition. It was divided four competition links: “China Story”, “Situational Communication”, “Workplace description” and “ Workplace Debate”，which focus on the comprehensive ability of using English to communicate Chinese Culture. This competition was held online, and the participants told stories in English, demonstrated their workplace thinking with their skills and expressed their patriotic passion. Li Dan, our school’ student, with her calm and solid skills, successfully completed the competition with her excellent language quality and thinking ability and stable performance on the spot, and won the second prize in the professional group.
In recent years, our school has made outstanding progress in English speaking skills competition. Our school has always taken “promoting learning, teaching, reform, construction through competitions” as an important means to improve the level of education, and has been giving full play to the leading role of the competition on teaching, improving the training of foreign talents and the ability level of the competition, focus on cultivating high-level skilled talents with innovative consciousness and job ability, and contribute to the social and economic development.
