On February 16th, at the Lucky Academic Greenhouse in Yantai, our university jointly organized the "Spring First Lesson at Academic Greenhouse - AI-Driven Industrial Transformation: Implementation Paths for New Quality Productive Forces and University-Enterprise Matchmaking Conference" with the Yantai Women Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce, Shandong Songmao Law Firm, and Lucky Academic Greenhouse.Under the theme of "Cross-Border Empowerment • Intelligence Ignites the Future," the event attracted over thirty university scholars, entrepreneur representatives, industry experts, and young talents to explore industrial upgrading through AI technologies, injecting new vitality into Yantai's high-quality industrial development.
In her opening speech, Gao Xiaoyan, Dean of the School of Information Engineering, stated that the Academic Greenhouse serves not only as a platform for knowledge sharing but also as an incubator for new quality productive forces. The university is committed to closely integrating technological R&D, talent cultivation, and industrial needs through university-enterprise collaboration to drive the practical application of innovative thinking.During the event, experts and enterprise representatives from fields such as intelligent manufacturing, digital economy, and modern services delved into how AI technologies can reshape traditional industrial logic and foster the development of new quality productive forces. Wang Pengpeng, an AI faculty member from the School of Information Engineering, demonstrated the "Smart Training Platform" based on AI technology—Jianyi Turing—showcasing the perfect fusion of AI with artistic culture and breathing new life into traditional paper-cutting art. Participants also explored AI applications in legal services and business innovation.In the university-enterprise talent matchmaking session, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions and agreed to cultivate more interdisciplinary talents for local Yantai enterprises through customized courses, corporate mentorship programs, and project-based learning. Additionally, Lucky Academic Greenhouse announced the launch of its "Innovation Seed Program," establishing a special talent fund to support innovative collaborations between faculty, students, and entrepreneurs.
To conclude, the organizers jointly proposed initiatives to develop Yantai's new quality productive forces, including establishing a regular university-enterprise matchmaking mechanism, strengthening policy support, and accelerating the commercialization of technological achievements to position Yantai as a regional AI innovation hub.Upholding the philosophy of "Sowing Innovation, Cultivating the Future," our university will continue collaborating with partners to build platforms for cross-sector exchanges, ensuring every seed of innovation thrives in Yantai's fertile ground.
