Recently, our university conducted a signing ceremony of the school-enterprise cooperation agreement with Shandong Weifang Grain and Oil Reserve Depot Co., Ltd. This collaboration is designed to deepen the integration of production and education, deliberate on the talent cultivation scheme together, inaugurate a new chapter of vocational education serving the development of the grain industry, and impart vigorous impetus to cultivating elite talents for the grain industry. Yuan Ming, the Party branch secretary, chairman and general manager of Shandong Weifang Grain and Oil Reserve Depot Co., Ltd., Zhang Lei, the member of the Party branch committee, vice general manager and chairman of the trade union, Wang Yingji, the supervisor of the storage and transportation department and a graduate of our school in grade 2016, Zhang Yue, the deputy secretary of the Party committee of our school, Li Haihong, the dean of the College of Grain, Oil and Food, and Huang Congcong, the vice dean, participated in the meeting.

Zhang Yue recounted the school's educational process over the past half century, during which it has nurtured numerous professionals in the grain field who have emerged as the central force in guaranteeing food security. At the new historical node, the school will adhere to its original intention and resolutely safeguard the cause of national food security. This cooperation with Shandong Weifang Grain and Oil Reserve Depot Co., Ltd. constitutes a critical step for the school in intensifying the integration of industry and education and improving the quality of talent cultivation. The two sides will jointly continue to write a splendid chapter in grain education.
Yuan Ming indicated that through in-depth internships in enterprises and taking practice as a bridge to break through the "last mile" of talent cultivation. This allows students to temper themselves in real business operations, truly realizing the deep integration of theory and practice, and accomplishing the transformation from fledgling students to professional talents in the industry.

At the meeting, the two sides of the school and the enterprise signed a cooperation agreement, encompassing all-round areas of talent cultivation and paving a solid path for the cooperation. After taking a group photo for commemoration, the guests visited the laboratories in Block F of the practical training building. The advanced equipment, scientific management and efficient sharing mechanism highlighted the school's practical teaching strength and also consolidated the foundation for the scientific research cooperation between the school and the enterprise.
This signing is a significant practice of the school and the enterprise in response to the national food security strategy and a successful exemplification of the synergy between vocational education and the industry.
