In order to further promote the construction of provincial and municipal scientific research platforms such as Shandong Engineering Technology Research Center of our school, on June 13, Su Jinli, deputy chief of the high-tech Section of Yantai Development and Reform Commission, and Cheng Kesong, deputy director of the Economic Development Bureau of High-tech Zone, visited our school. Sun Yulin, the vice president of our school, and the relevant leaders of the School of Food Science and Technology and the School of information Engineering attended the meeting.
In the meeting, Sun Yulin warmly welcomed Su Jinli and his colleagues and introduced the achievements in teaching and research in recent years. Then the person in charge of Shandong Engineering Research Center of Healthy Grain and Oil Innovation Technology Application made a special report on the basic situation of the research center, achievements, the use of provincial and municipal special funds, the next development plan and research objectives. The person in charge of the application project of the school of information Engineering made a special report on the preparatory work of the Shandong Engineering Research Center to be built by artificial intelligence technology to enable green and low- carbon transformation industry. Subsequently, Su Jinli and his delegation visited the School of Food Science and Technology and the School of information Engineering, and inspected the platform,base and equipment supported by the engineering research center.
Su Jinli fully affirmed the construction and planning of the engineering research center of our school, reaffirmed the main functions and important status of the research center,and stressed that it is necessary to seize the opportunity,innovate the model, give full play to the radiation capacity of the provincial engineering research center,accelerate the substantive landing of the provincial engineering technology research center,and serve the technical needs of the province's grain industry and enterprises. Cheng Kesong said that the Economic Development Bureau of High-tech Zone will strengthen communication and exchanges with our school in the future, actively support the needs of school construction and development, and carry out technical exchanges and cooperation with relevant regional enterprises to help regional industrial economic development.
In the next step, the school will further improve the management mechanism of the provincial engineering research center according to the guidance and suggestions of the leadership of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, take the engineering research center as the carrier, focus on the needs of the industry, further accelerate the transformation of results, enhance the school's scientific and technological transformation capabilities,and empower the school's high-quality development.
