The opening ceremony of “Chinese Bridge”--”Chinese+Intelligent Programming”was held in Shandong Business Institute(SDBI). Itwas hosted bythe Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by Shandong Business Institute. Mr. Zhang Yunsheng, vice president of SDBI,Mr.khamsavay Gnommilavong, president of Lao-German Technical College,Pitchayaphant Charnbhumidol, Ph.D., vice president of Rangsit University, Mr. Tang Lin,Director of Thailand Innovation Center, Ms. Zhao Lixia,Director of Training Division of Nonferrous Metals Industry Talent Center, Mr. Chen Zhiqiang, director ofYantai Foreign Affairs Office attended the meeting. More than 200 students from 9 countries attended the opening ceremony.
Vice President Zhang Yunsheng said that Chinese Bridge is an important platform for overseas students to learn Chinese and understand China. He hope that all students would cherish the learning opportunities, further improve the comprehensive application ability of Chinese and information technology, and contribute to strengthening cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and foreign countries.
Lao German Vocational College organized all teachers and students to watch the opening ceremony online. Mrs.khamsavay Gnommilavong said that the“Chinese + intelligent Programming” project provides a platform for students to understand and integrate Chinese culture, tell Chinese stories well and spread Chinese voice well. Meanwhile, he thanked China for investing heavily in Laos: infrastructure, mining, agriculture, Industry and etc.., especially the Lao-China railway which had been opened in the beginning of December last year(2021), it was like a present for 46th anniversary of the Lao national day.Pitchayaphant Charnbhumidol, Ph.D., vice president of Rangsit University thanked Shandong Business Institute for providing and imparting knowledge of Chinese culture and computer programming skills to young people all over the world and looked forward to the cooperation between Shandong Business Institute and Rangsit University.
The project started on January 18 and lasted for five days. Taking computer culture as the starting point and the application of information technology as the core, the project focused on artificial intelligence, big data, virtual reality and other technologies, demonstrated the wide application of new generation information technology in various fields in China, combined with intelligent programming to cultivate students’ innovative thinking. Since the beginning of the project, the staff of the whole school worked together for nearly two months to complete the design and production of the curriculum system and create a wonderful cultural experience for all overseas students.
