On August 18, the "Chinese Bridge" online group exchange program successfully concluded. Over the past four days, participants from Laos, Vietnam, Russia, and other countries along the Belt and Road Initiative gathered "virtually" to jointly witness the achievements of the language and cultural exchange program.
During the closing ceremony, Liu Jingguang, Dean of the International Education College, delivered a speech in which he noted that the Chinese Bridge program serves as an excellent opportunity to showcase China's characteristics and spirit to the world. Through the Chinese language learning and exchange platform established by this event, participants gained knowledge in both Chinese language and business management, experienced the charm of Chinese culture, and strengthened their emotional identification with understanding, friendship, and love for China. Dean Liu also expressed his hope that all participants would continue to study Chinese and become disseminators and inheritors of Chinese culture.
Teacher representative Hou Weiling sent her best wishes to the participants, encouraging them to seize this valuable opportunity to actively engage in friendly endeavors with China, serving as messengers of friendship and bridges for cooperation between their countries and China. She expressed her anticipation that the participants would have the chance to visit China, Yantai, and Shandong Business Institute in the future to continue their in-depth studies and exchanges.
Class supervisor Wang Xiang introduced the implementation and completion of the program during the ceremony. A total of 116 students registered for the platform, with the first batch of 72 students completing the online course tasks and receiving graduation certificates. Among them, 10 students were selected as "Outstanding Students." Additionally, the platform received 102 feedback comments from questionnaires, with a satisfaction rate of 99.6%. The satisfaction rates for teachers' teaching abilities and course variety both reached 100%.
