Recently, 32 teachers and students from the School of Culture and Tourism, majoring in Preschool Education, Infant and Child Care Services and Management, visited and communicated at KYUNGDONG University in South Korea for ten days. This study visit aims to strengthen academic exchange and cooperation between the two universities, and broaden students' international perspectives.
During the visiting period, teachers and students were warmly welcomed and treated by KYUNGDONG University. KYUNGDONG University has customized a variety of experiential courses for students, including making traditional Korean cuisine, practicing Taekwondo with both strength and softness, learning children-education related courses combined with four object games, K-POP and other art courses that students enjoy. In addition, teachers and students also visited the campus, teaching facilities of KYUNGDONG University, Korean children education institutions, museums, and modern art museums. Korean students and Chinese students engaged in one-on-one communication, gaining a deep understanding of South Korea's education system and cultural traditions, and experiencing the learning and living atmosphere. Through this visit and exchange, the faculty and students of the college not only learned foreign teaching concepts and professional knowledge, but also enhanced their understanding and recognition of Korean culture.
Meanwhile, this event has also laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between the two universities. Both sides held a symposium and conducted in-depth discussions on professional curriculum design, teaching methods, student management, and other aspects. Multiple cooperation intentions were also reached between the two universities regarding infant and young child education related majors, including student exchange, teacher visits, and scientific research cooperation.
In the future, the School of Culture and Tourism will continue to actively engage in international exchanges and cooperation, providing students with more opportunities for international educational exchange, and cultivating high-quality talents with international perspectives and competitiveness.
