Recently, the teachers and students of the School of Art and Design achieved excellent results in the 11th colleges and universities Digital Art and Design Competition, with a total of 16 awards. This competition is organized by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, recognized by the Chinese Higher Education Association of the Ministry of Education, and approved by 15 provincial education departments. A total of 1826 colleges and universities participated, and a total of 289865 works were collected.
The work "Design of Yantai Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Education Practice Base", directed by teachers Yu Yang and Jiang Li from the School of Art and Design, and by classmates Pang Zihan and Zhou Zhenghao, won the second prize in the national competition.
The School of Art and Design has continuously innovated teaching models, adhered to the principle of "promoting teaching and learning through competitions", and improved students' professional literacy and innovative practical abilities by participating in various competitions. In this competition, the participating team carefully studied the competition regulations, guided the teachers to accurately break through the difficulties, and participated in the guidance throughout the entire process to ensure the quality of the participating works to the greatest extent possible.
